Memories Tour 2018: Camargue Safari and Aigues-Mortes

Just because I didn’t make it to the Camargue safari on the Memories Tour 2018 doesn’t mean you must miss out on the fun and adventure. Join my co-tour leader and buddy, Patrica Sands, as she and the “sensational sixteen” ladies continue the tour and the story.

As you recall, I was on the Memories Tour in the South of France when I fell and broke my hip and shoulder. Every tour leader’s worst nightmare.

When the Barefoot Blogger sets out for a new adventure, it’s hard to predict the trouble I might get into. I ended up in a French hospital on the eighth day of the South of France Memories Tour with author Patricia Sands and sixteen lovely ladies.

Patricia’s blog on the Camargue safari picks up where we left off.

Our day in the Camargue got off to an exciting start. We were ready to explore the world of the fictional Jacques de Villeneuve from Drawing Lessons and eager to see this unique region’s legendary horses, bulls, and flamingos. We drove past the ancient walled town of Aigues-Mortes and into the countryside of the Camargue, passing the classic marinade dwelling of the Camargue gardens (cowboys who work with the bulls and horses) as well as black bulls, flamingos, and horses and ending with a tailgate wine tasting…
