Today, I discovered one of my new favorite wines in Uzès: Domaine Saint Firmin. Let’s just say my morning walk was a success. It led me to a part of UzèsI’vee never explored, where I found Domaine Saint Firmin.

While walking along one of the back roads in Uzès, I passed Domaine Saint Firmin, like I have several times before. But this time, I heard bottles rattling and turned around to go back.””Are they washing wine bottles”” I asked myself. “”That would be interesting to see.” “My curiosity was piqued, and I headed down the entrance road to find out what was happening.
They weren’t washing bottles. They were bottling wine.
When the wine is ready to store in bottles, they back a bottling truck to the door and work from there.
The mobile process is complete, from dispensing wine into bottles …

Wines of Uzès
Admittedly, I don’t have much knowledge about wine. I know what I like, but that’s as far as it goes. One of the most exciting things about living in France, especially in this region, is that Languedoc/Occitanie wines are excellent. This area is one of the most prolific wine-growing regions in France and the world. So, if I put my mind to it, I can learn something about wine. If not, I’ll enjoy the tastings!
