The lively wine bar La Grange is right around the corner with live music on the weeks while another bar/restaurant, Les Voutes is nearby. With its proximity to Uzes (12 minutes) and to Avignon (30 minutes), this is a great year-round destination village. You will also find the local festivals charming; the Asparagus festival and the Fete Votive to name a few. Only 3 km from the famous Roman aqueduct, the Pont du Gard, the stone quarries of Vers were the source for the foundation of the Pont du Gard and you will find the orange-ochre limestone which has been quarried since medieval times, throughout the village.
