Sarlat. You’re the winner. Of all the places I’ve been on my Dordogne tour these past five days, ย I like you the best. Take a look at market day in Sarlat!

Ok. I’m a sucker for market days

Maybe what I fell in love with in Sarlat was the fabulous handbag I bought. The town is known for its artisanal crafts, such as handmade bags and other souvenirs. Perhaps it was the foie gras or the walnuts. They are some of the region’s most famous culinary specialties.

It could have been the buildings and the alleyways of Sarlat that captivated me. And the fantastic church where I could feel the Spirit.

I wish you could have been in Sarlat with me to taste this galette, the cider, and the macaroons. I’m sure you’d feel the same about the place.

Food is an integral part of Sarlat’s cultural heritage and provides a unique and delicious way to experience the local flavors and ingredients of the Dordogne region.

Sarlat was so much fun that we almost braided our hair with feathers!
