Have you ever been lost at CDG Airport (Charles de Gaulle) trying to find your way to the hotel where you’ve reserved a room? I have.
When I head back to the US from Uzés to visit my family, I try to stay at a hotel near CDG the night before my flight. It’s my way of dealing with travel stress. Until this trip, however, I had been lost trying to find my way to the hotel. More stress…
This time, I was determined to figure it out. It couldn’t be that hard. Besides, what else would I do to spend the 24 hours before my next day’s flight to Atlanta? So, I walked slowly through the train station, reading all the signs and taking photos along the way. If I forget the next visit, hopefully, this will help.
Here we go … from the CDG trains (Gare) to one of these airport hotels: Citizen M, Hilton, Novotel, or Ibis. (If you’re staying at a CDG hotel other than these, I’m afraid this guide won’t be of much help to you.)

You’ve made it to the shuttle. But there are two tracks … and everyone’s in a hurry…which way to go??? Here’s a little secret: you can’t go wrong! Both shuttles go back and forth along the same route.
If you go the wrong way, sit back and relax. You’ll get to the right stop… Roissypôle.
You’re almost there! However, it does continue to be somewhat confusing. There’s a lot of construction going on at Roissypôle.

Thanks. Twice in Cdg and twice fristrated. This should help tremendously.
Hi Pete, the post is a bit dated, but each time I go back to CDG I find the landmarks are still the same, even with reconstruction. Let me know if this helps! Thanks for reaching out.
